Suit ready, full tank of gas and my brain filled up on C4 Jolly Rancher energy drinks - pumped beyond belief. This was a venue I had reached out to looking to collab on an event regarding weddings. I’ve never been a fan of cold calls, but I’m confident in my work and connections to get stuff done, and done right. They emailed back and said they had a Tampa Bay Bridal show Sunday, August 17th and would love some content to share. After that email it was set - Finally I’m back in the Tampa scene. What camera was I going to use, why that camera what lenses etc. I just knew it was a win before the event even started.
I met a ton of Tampa Wedding vendors, some brand new and some older friends that I had worked with years ago. They had asked where I had been, what had I been up too etc. Allegory Weddings was down to earth and rocked the candle game. Which from a dramatic movie like style - I love darker receptions with mainly candle lights, I know what lens looks best for them and how to work the room with mainly candles - so this is a vendor I want to work with for real weddings, and styled shoot weddings.
I linked up with a planner that branched off on her own 42 Lights- Angie, this planner is the real deal because she values what photo and video need and knows how to work a timeline, so couples that book with her are already ahead of the game, not to mention I’m also offering deals with her because it makes my day easier, my couples content better, the experience better.
Another awesome vendor with magazine spread quality I was blown away by was Jolise Photography. I could tell from the first poster she put in her booth she knew light very well - there’s several types of light when it comes to photo and video, bad light, ugly light, I’m new and don’t know light, bright and scary, and dramatic and sexy - this was elite dramatic and sexy. So, if you’re looking into boudoir photography in Tampa Bay she’s my #1 draft pick for you. We had some good conversations on lights and lenses. The knowledge she had and passion was deadly, something you want from your photographer. I could tell she cared about quality, and quality on another level. I’ve still got a few more things to take care of but Hatfield Productions is fully up and running, I’m looking for a sales team to help grow this brand to new levels, I’m looking for more Tampa Bay styled shoots - I wanted to thank Fenway Hotel for the opportunity to show what I can create, as long as I’m rocking a suit and some cool hair I am willing to outwork anyone, if you’re going to get the opportunity and you’re going to work…do it with everything you got, go all in and just do it.
