Why I Love Filming Weddings at The Regent
After filming hundreds of weddings, certain venues naturally stand out because they allow moments to unfold beautifully on camera.
The Regent is one of those venues.
One of my favorite areas to film is just outside the bridal preparation suite. The space opens into a large conference hallway with a single window that provides soft natural light.
This type of lighting is ideal for filmmaking.
Instead of harsh overhead lighting, the window creates a soft directional light that wraps naturally around the bride’s face — producing incredibly flattering images on film.
With the right positioning, this light creates a cinematic look that feels natural and elegant.
Small details like this make a huge difference in how a wedding film ultimately looks.
