Holiday is a waterfront community in western Pasco County, known for its parks, canals, neighborhoods, and access to the Gulf Coast. While it's often overshadowed by larger Florida destinations, Holiday offers a quieter side of the Tampa Bay area with beautiful evening light, palm-lined streets, and hidden waterfront views. This cinematic film explores the town from both the air and the ground, highlighting everyday places that are easy to overlook until viewed through a filmmaker's lens.
Historic downtown, riverfront walks, local restaurants, Sims Park, and one of Pasco County's most vibrant communities. The Hacienda hotel is also where I film a lot of weddings. This is only a few stoplights from where I live. This video has gone viral on tiktok with businesses saying they had never seen their city filmed in this movie style format. Downtown New Port Richey is centered around Sims Park and the Pithlachascotee River, offering tree-lined streets, local restaurants, historic architecture, and year-round community events. This cinematic film captures the energy of the downtown district, waterfront, and surrounding neighborhoods from both the ground and the air.

One of the Gulf Coast's best-kept secrets. From colorful sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico to quiet marinas, waterfront restaurants, fishing piers, and coastal neighborhoods, this cinematic film captures the unique atmosphere that makes Hudson such a special place to visit and call home. Filmed with a mix of vintage cinema lenses, drone footage, and cinematic color grading, this short film showcases the beauty of Florida's Nature Coast through slow, intentional storytelling.
Why We Film These Places
Every community has its own personality & I live only a few minutes from each of these spots. I like to challenge myself as a filmmaker to try new videos and different color grading so i can become familiar with any situation. There were all filmed and edited same day, I wanted to give them a real movie feel with static intentional shots and composition. I color graded each clip by hand
From the working waterfront of Tarpon Springs to the quiet canals of Holiday and the riverfront streets of New Port Richey, these places tell stories long before a wedding day begins. I also met some business owners and tried new foods/ice cream from walking the streets with a large bag with gear and a drone.
I believe understanding a location is part of creating meaningful films. These cinematic location features celebrate the towns, coastlines, and neighborhoods that make Tampa Bay one of Florida's most beautiful places to live, visit, and get married.
